Parking Day - parks not parking lots

Today we will take over one parking space in New Belgrade and briefly convert it into a mini park. We'll talk with the residents of blocks 22 and 21 about recent initiative to convert green areas in Zoran Djindjic Boulevard in a parking lot. We would like to talk about if they were presented an alternative, and what they think about our proposal. The event is organized in cooperation with the Belgrade bike initiative and association and Ministry of space. We are also celebrating international, annual event PARKINGday when parking areas are activated as a places of creativity, experimentation, promotion of social values, political and cultural expression and social interaction.
